I can't believe she is ONE years old!

I can't believe little Junie is a year old. I'd like to take this opportunity to mention that I was the first Aunt to visit her in the hospital!! Anyways I remember at the hospital holding her for the first time and just thinking how little she was and how unbelievable it was to love someone so much that you have just met. I love my little niece June! She is the cutest, and pretty much every time I see her I tell her that I am her favorite and that I will bake her lots of yummy treats. Obviously from these pictures our relationship is going to be great!

i like this city

I've been in this city for about a month, and I have hardly taken any pictures. I just haven't taken my camera around with me because it is so big buuuut one of my wandering days I did take my camera and this is what I have to show for it. A Succession galleria with one of my favorite artist Klimt. Guggenheim museum. Walking all down fifth ave. And then all through Central Park. I walk a lot here and I love it, but my knee doesn't ha.

i love this woman

My Mom and I on Easter did a self-timer with June, which ended up taking three pictures. I thought it was hilarious that my Mom jumped in the picture. We look so silly! Love these two girls in the picture!

a little tid bit

overheard in nyc walking in rain this afternoon... "ewww i would totally not judge him, no, no." one. love the ewww. two. i love to judge people. three. hey hey no no!

the little thing i learned today about nyc. green street signs are the normal plain street signs. blue are named after somebody "important". annnnnd brown are historical streets. oh and the black street signs down by wall street are from the original dutch territory, um possibly something like that. ha

well i have been settling into this crazy city. for the most part i have been walking around A LOT. visiting lots of bakeries, sometimes even two bakeries in one day. learning the subway system that i always want to call the metro annnd finding some babysitting jobs. havent had any full days for the museums that i have wanted to visit... i need unlimited amount of time at these museums.

packing

there is only one good thing about packing! discovering new outfits. i am a firm believer in dress up, just ask my dear friend lindsay wells who said every time we went out I would play dress up with my clothes looking for the best outfit. and like my sister megan believes I usually ended up with the first outfit picked out. so as i have been avoiding packing, and making outfits... it's all thanks to moving out to nyc tomorrow night.

let me nyc adventure begin, please don't melt me nyc! ha

Needing to Update... this is what I have been doing with my life!

So pretty much my life these days consists of work, June, family time, work, baking, trying to figure out my future life in NYC, trips to Utah, too many trips to LALA land (as I like to call it and never take pictures of)... and yeah thats about it. I decided to add a few pictures from my trip to Utah and of course my good times with JUNE.

The picture above is comical because it was hard to get us all together during the trip and once we were I said we had to get in a picture! It was probably 11pm on Sunday night before Melis and I left the next day aka we are hilarious and I miss these girls soo much!
Cheesecake Sunday Brunch soo good and Hill was so sad she missed out.
Funny photo sequence, but I do enjoy the picture below of melis and i holding hands. We are tender.

Old friends and new friends combined and they were so nice to come watch me play soccer!
She is probably in my top five and that is saying a lot!!
It was so fun to have Anne come into town, our little Alaska friend! We went to a show that was way fun, Hillary wasn't too sure about the music but she did end up dancing!
Ash the birthday girl! During my 5 years of college (ha) you probably saw me out with one of these girls, true story!

Then of course I had to add some pictures of June!!

SHE IS MY FAVORITE!!

Needing to update... What I have been baking lately!

My sister, Megan had a house warming party and was nice enough to ask me to make the desserts for her party! I had so much fun making all these yummy treats. I think people were being too nice saying they were good. I mean I always think they are yummy because I hearts treats and sugar waaaay too much. But pretty much I was just so happy to be making treats. Slowly but surely starting my Kravings business!

I made my very own cakebites, yum yum!
Mini cheesecake cupcakes
For Valentines day I made some chocolate whoopies. Oh and I just remembered I tried to make them into red velvet whoopies but we ended up not having any red food dye... whooops whoopies!
I had fun though making heart shapes and XO shapes. Yeah for heart day!
