June's Baby Blessing Day

The night after the blessing we had a free night stay at the Four Seasons this is what the family showed up in that night some beautiful robes!
Mom and Dad on our walk at the Four Season.
June and I in her post blessing outfit!
Calvin in my Dad's Indiana Jones costume, he was shaking he was so excited.
This face is when I start to think she looks like a Kakadelas girl.
Luke aka "The King" had to go straight back to playing Legos after the blessing.
Of course we would add another girl to the family, love baby June.
Beautiful night love the lit up gazebo.

What I've been baking lately..

I made some vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and to make them festive for the Fourth of July I add red and blue berries. Fruit and baked goods equals crazy deliciousness!
So many fun ways to put raspberries and blueberries on a cupcake.

And yess they were super yummy.

So I've really missed cakebites from the bakery I use to work at so I decided to make them myself. They don't quite taste the same but they will do the fix.
The finished product.
I also decided to make shortbread cookies because I never have had them. They are way good but something needs to be added I think. I did some test of dipping them in chocolate, but I think it is more a matter of putting something in the cookie dough.
Interesting chocolate designs.
Tell me what you think of the visual display of the cookies ha!

Father's Day Treats

So for Father's Day we got my dearest Dad an Ice Cream maker! I think my mom and I were more excited than he was ha. But we had everything ready on that Sunday. We made vanilla cookies and peach ice cream. So so so good! Hopefully there will be plenty more homemade ice cream to come.

our nation's capital

I was able to go to Washington D.C. last week to visit the Melissa, Christine and our nation's capital. I was suppose to have a long vacation visiting not only dc, but also new york and utah. But luckily I got a job at ANTHROPOLOGIE! So, I had to return home to go to orientation and start work. I am so excited that I got the job, but I will admit I am not use to having a job with hours and shift etc. Yes that is pretty weird for a 23 year old, but hey I am blaming it on soccer, the thing I normally blame everything for ha. But hey I had a great time in dc, mainly just to be with two of my best friends as well as getting to explore all the touristy things.

Abe's memorial.
We found missionaries out seeing the sights on their P-day and we bought them ice cream. Love the awkward spacing in the picture!
Melis is a great photographer, she got on the ground to take the picture with us and the whole Washington Monument
The boy who took this picture for us was so great, we offered him to spend the day with us and take our pictures, but oddly he declined, I don't weird.

Maybe so more pictures to come!

The end of Jeru!

I had a great time in Jerusalem, with all the adventures I went on. I meet some great people, saw breathtaking sights and a better knowledge on Christ's life and atonement.

I really like this picture of Petra
